MediaGrid for Windows NT/2000/95/98 and Power Macintosh is a feature full media browser application that displays thumbnails representing files. MediaGrid allows you to watch multiple folders located on different volumes or different servers, as well as watch SCC MediaServer database libraries at the same time. You can view them through a single window or MediaGrid can divide them up into multiple windows specific to the information you wish to display. MediaGrid puts you in control of attributes, viewing options, preferences, search criteria, dialogs and proofs.

MediaGrid comes with two companion applications, Layout Designer and Dialog Designer, that give you further flexibility in customizing the program. Layout designer allows you to design your own printed page formats. With Dialog Designer, you can define and configure custom attribute dialogs specific to the criteria that is most important to you and your workflow. (For example :you might want attributes such as "Route To", "Publication Name", or "Assigned".)

MediaGrid delivers real-time live image management. As picture files are added, deleted, or changed in a watch folder, the grid of thumbnails updates itself automatically! And MediaGrid's Compare Window offers side-by-side comparison, making those last minute editing decisions a breeze. Context-sensitive menus, infobars and www page authoring are some of the other great features that make MediaGrid the "right choice" in a multimedia management system.

MediaGrid is a valuable image management tool by itself for watching folders on disk. Add the MediaServer database and the combination is the ultimate high-end multimedia management system scalable to hundreds of thousands of files with many users.
